How many times have you watched a bicycle delivery person recklessly swerve in and out of traffic at break-neck speeds without a helmet or any other type of protection? Not only are they putting their life  at risk, but they also breaking the law.

On Thursday, Aug. 5 from 1 to 4 pm commercial delivery people can pedal uptown to pick up a free bike helmet courtesy of New York City Business Solutions and the Department of Transportation. The helmets will be distributed at 672 W. 158th Street.
