Support the Cupcake Suite
Passing by the future home of the Get ‘em Girls Cupcake Suite on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, we were disheartened to see that a notice was posted on the door. We were under the impression that things were moving right along and that they were working on the business on the back end while continuing their catering business. However, what happened was that they lost one of their investors in October which threw a real wrench into their plans to build out the space for the cafe. They are trying to raise money using Peerbackers to build the kitchen and presumably now pay back rent. You can help the three ladies realize their dream of a cupcake cafe in Harlem by donating to their Peerbackers page.

I’ve been hearing about ‘Get’em Girls’ but had no idea that they had/are to have an actual space. Where on Frederick Douglass Blvd were they planning on going??
Apparently they originally had a space on 116th Street that went bust so they rented a spot at 2211 Frederick Douglass Blvd. @ the corner of 119th Street.
